As part of it support for standard specifications in the pharmaceutical industry, we are pleased to offer this free online utility for quality assuring XML documents conforming to version 3.2 of the Electronic Common Technical Document (eCTD) for Pharmaceuticals DTD.

eCTD content validation service

Submitted XML instances are tested against a set of experimental QA rules using our XMLProbe software. This then produces a report on the content which details any faults found.

The rules used are derived from the eCTD documentation and from our own experience using this and other schemas. These rules are a subset of the full eCTD rule set soon to be available with commercial XMLProbe distributions.

Privacy Policy. All submitted XML instances are deleted from our servers during the QA process. Except for diagnostics, troubleshooting and performance measuring purposes, neither are any QA reports retained by Griffin Brown; these in any event are never disemminated beyond the XMLProbe development team.
