Griffin Brown is pleased to offer this free online utility for quality assuring XML documents conforming to version 2.1 of the 'NLM' Journal Publishing DTD produced by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI).
NLM content validation service
Submitted XML instances are tested against a set of QA rules using our XMLProbe software. This then produces a report on the content which details any faults found.
The rules used are derived from the NLM documentation and from our own experience using this and other DTDs. These rules are a subset of the full NLM rule set available with commercial XMLProbe distributions.
Privacy Policy. All submitted XML instances are deleted from our servers during the QA process. Except for diagnostics, troubleshooting and performance measuring purposes, neither are any QA reports retained by Griffin Brown; these in any event are never disemminated beyond the XMLProbe development team.
